Starting Life at THS
Our highly skilled and motivated staff take great pride in the development of our pupils’ characters from a young age, and emphasise skills such as confidence, empathy and resilience, within a rich learning environment. Characterised by our small year group sizes and specialist teachers, this enables individualised support where no boy is left behind; where everyone knows and supports one another, fostering strong self-esteem in our pupils.
We provide an exceptional education to our boys throughout all year groups and are proud of our academic outcomes, with over 50% of boys in Year 8 being awarded academic, music, sport, art and drama scholarships to Senior Schools in 2026.
Tower House understands boys and we are passionate about helping them reach their full potential and thrive inside the classroom and beyond.
Extra-Curricular Activities for Boys in South West London
We work hard developing our boys into well-rounded, confident individuals and our extensive extra-curricular programme provides pupils with opportunities to discover new passions, develop valuable life skills, and broaden their experiences beyond the classroom. From debating, tennis and music ensembles to pottery, chess and drama, boys are encouraged to explore a wide variety of activities, build confidence and develop the skills and interests that will stay with them for life.
Co-Educational Links
As an all boys’ school, we take pride in our collaboration with The Old Vicarage Girls’ School in Richmond, where every term we offer multiple opportunities for every year group from both schools to come together for academic workshops, social events, and extracurricular activities. We believe that opportunities to interact with girls will lead to a healthy understanding of positive relationships and diverse perspectives. Tower House and OVS are close friends sharing the best of both worlds for our pupils and their families. We also provide a shuttle bus from Tower House in East Sheen to OVS in Richmond every morning, to support local families with siblings at both schools.
