Senior School Classroom
The Evans Building is home to our spacious and state of the art Senior School classrooms. These act as form rooms as well as for the teaching of maths, English, French, Latin, history, geography, TPR and PSHE.
School Playground
Breaktime is a great opportunity for year groups to mix and let off some steam between lessons! This spacious central area in the school sees spontaneous games of football, cricket and table tennis as a daily occurrence.
Tower House Theatre
With seating for over 200, the school theatre gives every boy an opportunity to regularly perform in front of an audience, whether it is during whole school assemblies, musical concerts or as part of our award-winning drama productions.
The Evans Sports Hall
Our Sports Hall is a bright, spacious and well-equipped facility used by Reception – Year 8 for weekly PE lessons, as well as sports clubs such as fencing, karate and table tennis.
The Townsend Hall
The Townsend Hall is regularly used for smaller assemblies and intimate musical concerts, as well as transforming each lunchtime into the school dining hall.
The Science Lab
A popular location in the school, all boys from Year 3 – Year 8 enjoy science lessons in our fully equipped laboratory. Weekly science experiments help the boys deepen their understanding of the subject, with the aim of every boy developing a real passion for investigating the world around them.
ICT Suite
A fully equipped state of the art ICT and technology suite sits alongside our class sets of laptops to enhance learning in the classroom and across the curriculum. Robotics, AI, virtual reality, coding, web design and digital literacy are taught within a computer science curriculum. After school clubs such as coding and touch typing are also taught here and the ICT suite is used regularly to complement art and design projects.
Library
The THS library is a calm, bright and enriching oasis, with an extensive selection of both fiction and non-fiction. Our Librarian works closely with teachers and boys to best support their reading, by helping each boy in their book choices, encouraging reluctant readers through appropriate alternative material and ensuring available books are appealing and exciting to the boys and their interests.
Art Studio
The art room is a vibrant and inspiring hub, where the boys are encouraged to unleash their creativity! Our outstanding facilities include three potter’s wheels and ceramics kiln, a pewter casting facility, a 3D printer and a laser cutter.
Junior School Classroom
Our Junior School classrooms are a vibrant and stimulating setting for the boys to start their learning adventure! As a school with small class sizes, we pride ourselves on giving each boy individual focus and attention to ensure they make progress at the rate suitable for them as learners.
Junior School Playground
Our Junior School playground is a bright, fun, yet calm space for our younger boys in Reception and Year 1 to enjoy between lessons. Dressing up and imaginative play is a particular favourite, as is playing in the sand pit, ‘cooking’ in the mud kitchen or having a go at the monkey bars!
Reception Classroom
The Reception classroom is a welcoming, bright and fun space for the boys to explore as they begin their magical adventure at Tower House. Split into different areas for creativity, imaginative play and quiet reading, the boys work their way through a daily ‘carousel’ of activities aimed at supporting and developing their skills across the Early Years Foundation Stage.
