PHSE

PHSE is the study of personal, social, health and economic wellbeing, and includes citizenship as well as sex education and teaching about relationships.

We develop the study programme across the early years foundation stage right through both the Junior and Senior schools. We’ve designed it to enable our boys to make the most of their abilities. In addition, it will prepare them for developing good relationships and healthy, safe lifestyles, on top of playing an active role as citizens and respecting the differences between people.

We’ve designed the topics to encourage boys to become more aware of themselves, and consider the diversity they’ll encounter as they develop and grow.

In our weekly lessons, we focus on active learning which includes lively discussion, debate and role play. This allows the boys to develop analytical and critical skills so they can make informed judgements about their lives.
